      Fred has been involved in the tennis industry for the past 30 years, working in both the tennis retail and tennis club areas. Fred attended local colleges, including Pasadena City College and Cal State Los Angeles. He has played open division tennis, singles and doubles, in Southern California. His highest ranking in singles was #41 and #7 for doubles. Fred looks forward to increasing the growth and participation in all levels of our tennis community. Fred has the highest USPTA teaching certification, Elite Professional.

      Nate is the newest Pro at ATCC! As a high school student in Naples, Florida, Nate achieved a top 35 National Ranking in Boy’s 18’s and won the Florida individual state title. Nate has also competed at the international level, reaching the finals of International Hard Courts. At the University of Kentucky, Nate achieved a high ranking of #41 and #25 in doubles in the NCAA rankings. After college, Nate spent one year as the Assistant Coach of Michigan State University. He then moved to New York City, where he was the Associate Director of the John McEnroe Tennis Academy for eight years. Most recently, Nate ran his own tennis academy in Boca Raton, Florida.

      Danny is a Southern California native. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School and played #1 singles in his junior and senior year. After graduating in 1984, Danny attended Cal State LA and enjoyed 2 more years of tennis. He has played tournaments in Europe and has had a singles ranking of #12 in Southern California Open Division. Danny has the highest USPTA teaching certification, Elite Professional.

      Our tennis teaching professional, Paul Click, comes to us from an extensive athletic background. He was signed to a professional baseball contract by the Los Angeles Angels. After a ten year career as a pitcher with the Angels, Seattle Pilots, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Atlanta Braves, he joined the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department from which he retired after serving his community for 25 years. Paul coached high school tennis and football and taught many instructional classes for the Sheriff's Department. He also earned a B.A. Degree in Public Administration. For more than 20 years, Paul has been teaching both private and group tennis lessons. He earned his USPTA teaching certification at the P1 level, which is the highest possible rating.

      Kate Hunt grew up locally, in San Marino, where she was a multi sport athlete as well as CIF Scholar Athlete of the Year at San Marino High School. She played tennis at University of Colorado and Cal State LA before settling in at USC to finish her undergraduate education. Post college, she continued to play locally and nationally, winning the National Public Parks Tournament in 2001 and consistently maintaining a top ten ranking for Open level women in Southern California. Kate has been teaching tennis off and on for for almost thirty years and is a USPTA certified teaching professional. She first taught at San Marino Tennis Club and then taught ten years at ATCC while also teaching Kindergarten. She also spent two years as Assistant Women’s Tennis and Conditioning Coach at Occidental College. Around 2008 she took a break from tennis to pursue strength and conditioning more seriously, opening two gyms as well as competing in CrossFit and Olympic Lifting. Kate returned to ATCC in 2017, bringing with her many years of tennis experience as well as over a decade of experience in sports strength, conditioning, and recovery.
